At the academic level, he pursued a career of about 8 years in research, first at the University of Berkeley, and after his PhD in Oxford, at the University of Edinburgh and at IST. During this period he also directed Master’s and PhD students. She was a Professor at IST, at Oxford University and at Edinburgh University.
