O Diretor de Human Capital da AON, Nuno Abreu, será o keynote speaker, seguindo-se à sua intervenção um debate que reunirá também a perspetiva jurídica da empresa SRS, bem como a de alguns responsáveis de empresas na área da Gestão de Pessoas.
A falta de transparência salarial foi identificada como um dos principais obstáculos à eliminação da disparidade salarial entre homens e mulheres. Em 2020, na UE, essa disparidade foi de 13% em média, o que significa que as mulheres ganham, em média, menos 13% do que os homens.
A igualdade remuneratória assegura que todos os colaboradores recebam salários iguais por trabalho de igual valor, independentemente do género, raça ou qualquer outra característica pessoal. A transparência salarial, por sua vez, é uma medida essencial para reduzir o gap salarial de género e promover a equidade.
A Comissão Europeia tem aumentado as exigências em matéria de transparência salarial em todos os Estados membros, incentivando as empresas a divulgar informações sobre como a remuneração é estabelecida e gerida.
Na sessão ALP, serão exploradas as práticas atuais, os desafios e a legislação relevante sobre igualdade remuneratória e transparência salarial. Serão discutidas como estas medidas podem ser implementadas nas organizações para garantir um ambiente de trabalho mais justo e equitativo. Além disso, será abordada a Diretiva Europeia sobre Transparência Salarial, que exige que os Estados-Membro estabeleçam sanções efetivas para os empregadores que infrinjam as regras e que as vítimas de discriminação salarial sejam indemnizadas. Estamos num momento particularmente crítico para a transição energética, tendo sido 2024 o ano mais quente de sempre, com record de emissões de CO^₂ e com desastres naturais sem precedentes, sendo por isso fundamental aumentar o esforço a todos os níveis para manter vivos os objetivos do Acordo de Paris.
Nos últimos três anos, o contexto energético global passou por uma transformação significativa, impulsionada por crises geopolíticas, como a guerra na Ucrânia, e por circunstâncias que têm trazido desafios acrescidos à transição energética, como a inflação e as taxas de juro. Na Europa, a sua dependência histórica em relação ao gás natural russo revelou-se uma vulnerabilidade crítica, forçando a diversificação de fornecedores e a aceleração da implementação de fontes renováveis e nucleares. Esse movimento também destacou os desafios associados ao protecionismo e à fragmentação geopolítica, que encarecem as cadeias de abastecimento e estão a atrasar a transição energética. Apesar do crescimento recorde de instalações de renováveis e avanços no armazenamento por baterias, a volatilidade dos preços de energia (em particular devido à volatilidade dos preços de gás) e os atrasos regulatórios continuam a dificultar o progresso e tem-se assistido ao aparecimento de uma narrativa – infundada e algo sensacionalista – de sentimento negativo face à transição e às renováveis, não reconhecendo assim os incontáveis benefícios das mesmas.
A transição energética representa para a Europa não só uma necessidade do ponto de vista de independência energética, mas também um caminho para a competitividade económica cuja solução passa pelas renováveis, onde tem perdido terreno de forma significativa. Neste contexto, a Península Ibérica tem demonstrado o seu papel crucial, e é um exemplo de como as renováveis podem impulsionar a competitividade europeia (estabilidade de preços durante a crise é um exemplo claro). Com recursos naturais abundantes — sol, vento e água — e apoiada por uma vasta experiência técnica, a Ibéria está numa posição única para fornecer energia acessível e limpa. Esta liderança não só apoia a descarbonização da indústria, como também atrai eletrointensivos, como centros de dados, que procuram soluções energéticas rentáveis e sustentáveis. No entanto, a Ibéria deve também competir em pé de igualdade com a França e a Alemanha, abordando fatores de competitividade mais amplos, como os mecanismos de compensação de CO^₂.
Ao todo, para garantir o sucesso da transição na Ibéria e na Europa, é necessário implementar políticas robustas, como preços eficazes para o carbono e incentivos diretos às energias limpas (por exemplo, com os chamados CFDs), e assegurar que a política fiscal acompanha a política energética – só assim se vão sentir verdadeiramente os benefícios. Finalmente, a cooperação regional, combinada com inovação tecnológica e resiliência das cadeias de abastecimento, será essencial para superar os desafios estruturais, económicos e geopolíticos que ainda ameaçam cada vez mais o futuro energético e por consequência a competitividade. Daniela Seixas É médica neurorradiologista apaixonada pela tecnologia. Defendeu a sua tese de doutoramento em Neurociências em colaboração com a Universidade de Oxford em 2012. É professora afiliada da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto. Em 2015, concluiu um MBA Executivo na IE Business School, em Madrid (Empreendedorismo), e concluiu o 15º PADIS na AESE. Co-fundou a Tonic App em 2016, a startup de saúde digital à qual se dedica atualmente como CEO. É ainda membro da Comissão Nacional para as Tecnologias de Informática na Saúde da Ordem dos Médicos.
