Mas, o Tribunal de Contas [TC] concluiu que a execução dos fundos do “Portugal 2020” se tem caracterizado por boas taxas de compromisso, execução lenta, baixo nível de absorção dos fundos, incumprimento de objetivos intermédios e fraca orientação para resultados.
As falhas apontadas pelo TC dependem parcialmente dos empresários e gestores e podem ser ultrapassadas através da formação. Cabe às escolas de negócios lançar programas que abordem directamente o planeamento estratégico, a candidatura e a execução de projetos financiados por Fundos Europeus. A AESE Business School responde a esse desafio com o Next Generation Program (NGP), que será apresentado durante a conferência.

No dia 8 de Março, João Garrido, alumnus do 12º EMBA, vem apresentar a empresa que fundou em 2018. Possui um Executive MBA pela AESE/IESE.
Começou a carreira de Engenheiro no sector do tratamento de Águas, mas rapidamente mudou para a área da energia. Nos últimos 15 anos desenvolveu diversas funções no sector da energia, nomeadamente, engenharia, auditorias energéticas para a indústria, formação, direção de vendas, desenvolvimento de negócio, Fusões e Aquisições, entre outras. Ao longo da sua carreira, trabalhou em diferentes países da  Europa, África  América Latina.
Tem colaborado com o Instituto Superior Técnico/InnoEnergy, na cadeira de Engineering and Business Case em parceria com o Professor José Figueiredo. Também tem   participado no programa AMEG da AESE, sob a direção do Professor Francisco Vieira.
Em 2018, fundou a empresa Caparica Solaris que atua no mercado dos grandes projetos de energia solar fotovoltaica. Em 27 de novembro passado, foram apresentados os resultados do inquérito lançado anteriormente, no evento Mercado americano de vinhos - Potencial para Portugal, e duas especialistas americanas e quatro personalidades portuguesas apresentaram as suas experiências relevantes.
Constatou-se que as empresas portuguesas do setor vitivinícola já têm uma presença significativa nos EUA, que é o segundo destino de exportação de vinho nacional, sendo Portugal o 8.º país fornecedor de vinhos para os EUA. Contudo, para que esta internacionalização do setor do vinho nacional fosse mais competitiva, precisaria de adotar novas estratégias de negócio dada a variedade das exigências regulamentares e a sua profundidade e extensão.
Sendo certo que não há receitas simples, nem se trata de identificar caminhos fáceis, procuraremos proporcionar novos elementos que permitam desenhar uma ação neste mercado mais eficaz e mais eficiente. Para melhorar os resultados atuais ou lançar-se no mercado americano serão apresentadas diversas iniciativas, tanto internas como no âmbito do ecossistema da vinha e do vinho, que foram desenvolvidas com sucesso e podem ser inspiradoras.
Serão discutidos casos concretos de exportação para o mercado dos Estados Unidos e serão explorados os resultados do estudo completo que foi apresentado resumidamente, em novembro. Em mesa-redonda, conversar-se-á com os protagonistas de outras experiências complementares.
No final da tarde de trabalho, os participantes estarão em condições de selecionar, entre as várias ações apresentadas, as que melhor se adaptem aos seus objetivos de curto e médio prazo.

É uma transformação que, como tudo o que é humano não está pré-determinada. O seu sentido e as suas consequências dependem das nossas opções livres, enquanto pessoas e enquanto sociedade. Poderá vir a ser algo maravilhoso, ou medíocre ou péssimo. Como escrevia Ana Machado, Professora na AESE Business School, num artigo de 2018 sobre inteligência artificial e o futuro do trabalho, “o que é próprio em cada pessoa, mais que a maximização da eficácia é a identificação do sentido”.
Que sentido queremos dar à transformação digital? Quem vai beneficiar da maximização da eficácia que a transformação digital trará ao sector da saúde? Para quem vamos canalizar o valor acrescentado obtido pela transformação digital? Penso que deverá ser ocasião para um incremento de atenção humanizadora para com os doentes e os seus familiares, uma oportunidade para um cuidado mais especificamente humano nas várias fases da interação dos doentes com o sistema de saúde, um momento para o fortalecimento das condições de trabalho e de desenvolvimento dos profissionais de saúde. Isto permite depois cuidar dos doentes com uma atitude mais humana e personalizada.

Cuidados de saúde de melhor qualidade, um sistema de saúde mais eficiente e sustentável financeiramente, mais focado na obtenção de bons resultados em saúde e que coloque o cidadão no centro do sistema. Estes são naturalmente objetivos partilhados pela generalidade dos stakeholders da saúde. A inovação digital aplicada ao setor da saúde pode prestar um contributo importante para estes objetivos, ajudando na prestação de cuidados de saúde mais atempados e de melhor qualidade. A inovação digital pode, por exemplo, contribuir para prevenir duplicação de atos médicos e de exames de diagnóstico, facilitar o acesso do utente aos cuidados de saúde que necessita, permitindo, também para que tenha melhores terapêuticas.
Este projeto foca-se na transformação digital na área da saúde em Portugal. Pretendemos identificar as necessidades existentes ao nível da prestação de cuidados de saúde e da cadeia de valor da indústria farmacêutica para as quais a transformação digital pode aportar valor. O processo de transformação digital será capaz de dar resposta a muitos destes desafios, assim estejam claras as prioridades nacionais que urge dar resposta. Acreditamos que a implementação de soluções digitais aplicadas à saúde será mais bem sucedida quando é conseguido um alinhamento entre aquilo que é a visão e liderança política para a área e o posicionamento dos principais atores da sociedade civil que procuram dar resposta às prioridades definidas. É esse diálogo e esse alinhamento que temos vindo a procurar por meio deste projeto de transformação digital para a saúde.

                                              Susan Wojcicki, CEO de Youtube, construiu a sua carreira profissional assumindo riscos. Juntou-se à Google quando era apenas uma start-up que funcionava na sua garagem e, mais tarde, convenceu o gigante tecnológico a adquirir o Youtube. Em setembro de 2014, a Facebook anunciou uma mudança estratégica orientada para os vídeos online. Wojcicki tinha sido nomeada CEO de Youtube seis meses antes, com o objetivo de rentabilizar esta plataforma. Na altura o Youtube tinha 5.600 Milhões de USD de receita, mas ainda apresentava prejuízos.
                                              Durante a sessão, avaliar-se-á se as regras tradicionais da estratégia se aplicam na envolvente empresarial atual, repleta complexidade e de mudanças.
