Como seria voltar a estudar, a fazer exames e a ser avaliado?
Quando começaram as aulas. senti uma enorme humildade, ao perceber que estava rodeado de pessoas profissionalmente brilhantes. Debater assuntos sobre os mais variados temas iria ser realmente desafiante e senti que ia ter de trabalhar para estar preparado e à altura.
Este primeiro contacto com uma turma e professores tão excelentes foi uma alavanca para a minha dedicação. A AESE e a constante preocupação para que todos estivéssemos bem, foi outra alavanca.

Esta jornada de transformação ajudou-me a esclarecer o que conquistei, onde estou e preparou-me para os desafios que desejo abraçar.
Nesse sentido, sinto que o Executive MBA impactou-me mais do que jamais imaginei, não só como líder, mas como pessoa. Cultivou a autoconfiança e fortaleceu a capacidade de análise crítica, julgamento, tomada de decisão e ação, seja para fins profissionais ou pessoais.
Além disso, o Executive MBA foi uma experiência incrível, onde compartilhei e aprendi com um grupo interessante de pessoas com diferentes perspectivas e formações. Todos tínhamos em comum o desejo de crescer e fazer a diferença, por isso estávamos sempre abertos a discutir novas ideias, com respeito uns pelos outros.
Em última análise, devo também mencionar a magia do método de caso. Este método enriqueceu esta jornada, porque os casos expõem dilemas reais de negócios e ensinaram-me a dimensionar problemas de negócios, considerando o contexto organizacional e os ambientes complexos. Dentro do método do caso, destaco o desafio de escrever um business case real, inspirado em um evento profissional que já havíamos vivenciado. Foi uma perspectiva interessante porque estruturamos uma experiência pessoal em um estudo de caso académico. Fui exposto a colegas de alto nível, professores e palestrantes convidados com muitas experiências profissionais e estive envolvido em projetos e estudos de caso que mergulham profundamente em diferentes indústrias e setores. A juntar a isto, ter acesso privilegiado a uma vasta rede de ex-alunos, muito dinâmica na organização de eventos com oradores de renome, é sem dúvida uma mais valia que pode ser potenciada ao longo da sua carreira.
A parte académica do MBA flui logicamente para o projeto final denominado Iniciativa Empreendedora, que engloba todos os processos de conceção de um novo empreendimento. É aqui que os alunos aplicam todas as competências e os conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo do programa e, sob a supervisão e orientação de um mentor, elaboram um Plano de Negócios, que é depois apresentado a potenciais investidores de capital de risco. Este impulso empreendedor e a perspetiva prática são de extrema importância para quem está profundamente envolvido (ou pretende estar) em funções de gestão de negócios ou no lançamento de novas ideias e iniciativas no mercado.
Procurava imprimir ritmo ao meu desenvolvimento profissional e acelerar a minha carreira.
