In the current competitive environment, it is important to increase the contribution of the business arriving from abroad to the total profit of the company. Previously he was a lecturer of marketing at Middlesex University, and the programme leader for the MA International and Cross Cultural Marketing. Fawaz research explores International Key Account Management in emerging markets. His research brings a new dimension of understanding how business is conducted in emerging economies and in the field of industrial marketing in cross cultural contexts where there is a lack of knowledge in that domain, and gives more insights about the transfer of practices across borders that enhances the understanding of global management. He has conducted research in several multi-national companies, such as Orange, LafargeHolcim, Societe General, HSBC, Polycom, Microsoft; Dell, Holiday Inn; Zain, Umniah, Arab Bank. Embora os gestores estejam conscientes que as decisões de fixação de preços contribuem para atingir ou destruir os resultados de uma empresa, estes tendem a enfrentar os mercados sem a ajuda de uma estratégia cuidadosamente elaborada. Consequentemente, as políticas de preços são pouco mais do que uma colecção de tácticas de curo-prazo mantidas por pressupostos questionáveis e heurísticas grosseiras que, em muitas circunstâncias, põem em risco a saúde financeira da empresa. A gestão estratégica de preços consiste numa prática orientado para a acção sobre os diferentes papéis que a fixação de preços desempenha na captação, comunicação e mesmo no reforço da vantagem competitiva da empresa.
      O objectivo deste programa é dotar os participantes da confiança e das competências necessárias para conceber e executar estratégias de preços ganhadoras. Para conseguir ganhar este desafio vamos explorar conhecimentos de diversas áreas — como economia, psicologia, sociologia e outras disciplinas — e entraremos na realidade de várias funções organizacionais para introduzir novas abordagens e quadros úteis para resolver os mais prementes problemas de preços contemporâneos. Adicionalmente, este short program online será alimentado pelo exercício de tomada de decisões de pricing no contexto de um simulador criado por mão da Harvard Business School Publishing. Os participantes são convidados a tomar decisões de preços perante situações reais de negócio e compreender as consequências dessas decisões.       [/av_toggle] [av_toggle title='Professores' tags=''] André Vilares Morgado, Professor Associado de Marketing na AESE Business School.É doutorado em Gestão pela Universidade de Lisboa, Licenciado em Marketing pelo IPAM e concluiu o Executive MBA da AESE em 2005. Fez programas de formação para executivos na Universidade de Michigan, no Indian Institute of Management e no IESE. A sua investigação científica encontra-se publicada em diversas revistas, entre as quais: Journal of Creating Value; Journal of Strategic Contracting and Negotiation; Management Decision; European Business Review; Harvard Deusto Business Review; Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing; e International Journal of Marketing and Sales Education. É autor de mais de 20 casos de estudo e notas técnicas que já foram estudados em 31 instituições de ensino, espalhadas por 16 países. Dois dos casos de sua autoria foram premiados em concursos internacionais. É também autor do livro “B2B Marketing: Uma abordagem prática em mercados industriais”, que foi editado em 2019 pela editora Actual do Grupo Almedina. Profissionalmente, trabalhou 10 anos no setor das telecomunicações, em empresas como a Oni, a Siemens e a Nokia, sendo que nesta última foi Global Strategic Marketing Manager. É membro do Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group e foi membro do Conselho Pedagógico do ISEG.
      Rafael Franco, Associate Dean da AESE e Professor de Contabilidade e Controlo de Gestão. É licenciado em Economia pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Executive MBA pela AESE e doutor em Gestão (DBA) pela Universidade de Manchester. Fez o Advanced Competitive Analysis Program na Universidade de Michigan (EUA) e o Advanced Digital Media Strategies and Entrepreneurship Program no IESE de Nova Iorque. Tem 10 casos publicados na área de contabilidade financeira, 4 em contabilidade de custos e 2 casos de gestão financeira pessoal. É Professor na AESE desde 2003, nas áreas de Contabilidade Financeira, Contabilidade de Custos e Sistemas de Controlo de Gestão. Leciona em diversos programas para executivos, seminários e programas específicos para empresas em Lisboa e Luanda. É Diretor do Executive MBA e coordenador da área académica de Contabilidade e Controlo de Gestão na AESE. É consultor independente em sistemas de custos, análise de projetos, orçamentação e controlo de gestão. Tem investigado e aplicado algumas ferramentas avançadas, tais como: time-driven activity-based costing, dynamic budgeting, revenue management, non cash flow project analysis, e levers of control. Representa comercialmente em Portugal a empresa Northern Tannery (Kanpur, Índia) e é membro fundador e Diretor da Associação de Amizade Portugal Índia. É Presidente do Conselho Fiscal da SOCEI e do ISU. Foi Diretor-Geral, Diretor Financeiro e Diretor de Planeamento e Controlo, em empresas industriais (setor do calçado, curtumes e setor agroalimentar).
      Mário Porfírio, é Licenciado em Gestão de Marketing pelo IPAM, Executive MBA AESE, com uma Pós-Gradução em Gestão de Projectos. Empreendedor e gestor de empresas, fundou em 1998 a empresa Inédito, Consultores de Comunicação e em 2008 a BAR - Produção Publicitária, Lda, nas quais desempenha até hoje funções de gestão. De 2016 a 2019 desenvolveu atividade como business angel e gestor em quatro entidades veículo especializadas em áreas de impacto económico, ambiental e social. Membro-fundador do Centro de Investigação em Marketing da AESE, tem sido mentor em vários programas de empreendedorismo.
