O espírito que se vive é de grande camaradagem entre colegas e professores, num ambiente tranquilo e de total disponibilidade que proporciona uma fácil aquisição de conhecimentos. Com este programa, pretendia colmatar insuficiências na minha formação pessoal, que considerava essenciais para um melhor desempenho de funções de gestão e direção.
As análises semanais dos casos, nem sempre restritos à área da saúde, demonstram que por trás da liderança deverá estar sempre a confiança alicerçada num profundo conhecimento de um contexto a que se alia uma escuta ativa e contínua dos nossos colaboradores, tentando ir ao encontro das suas preocupações e necessidades. E, assim, contruindo uma verdadeira cultura institucional em que todos estão altamente motivados e se mobilizam em torno de um desígnio comum.
Afinal das contas, as relações pessoais são importantes e deverão também estar refletidas nas culturas empresariais. Foi impressionante constatar que, mesmo nas áreas que não nos eram tão familiares como contabilidade ou finanças, a dinâmica dos casos e as questões que tínhamos de responder, orientavam o nosso pensamento para acompanharmos as sessões.
A visita à Clínica Universitária de Navarra foi outra experiência enriquecedora. O sucesso dos procedimentos e uma organização estruturada construída e alicerçada ao longo de anos, será sempre uma fonte inspiradora para todos aqueles que pretendam entregar valor ao doente.
E, apesar de não ter correspondido à última aula, penso que o culminar deste Programa foi mesmo o Jogo de Simulação do Serviço de Urgência. Com uma grande criatividade, foi criado um ambiente com múltiplas operações em que vários intervenientes tentam cumprir escrupulosamente as suas funções e refletir sobre as dos outros, para que no fim a sua equipa saia vencedora. Com laivos do serviço de urgência real o mais importante, mais uma vez, foi a rápida adaptação de um grupo a um contexto novo imbuídos num forte espírito de equipa.
No fim de tudo, estou convicto que todos levaremos o PADIS para as nossas Instituições e que reconheceremos muitos dos exemplos que estudamos nos casos, no nosso dia a dia. É essa a forma de nos prepararmos para o que temos de enfrentar!
