Prof. de Dou runs his own private psychiatric practice and manages a team of professional psychiatrists and psychologists. He has also worked as a medical specialist and has held various positions at several psychiatric hospitals.
For several years, Prof. de Dou was an assistant in the Human Behavior Department of IESE. Additionally, he is a psychiatric consultant at Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Barcelona. He serves as an expert psychiatrist for the ecclesiastical tribunal of the Archdiocese of Barcelona, and an associate doctor at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

In January 2019 was appointed  chairman of the Compulsory Stock Obligations Advisory Board, Entidade Nacional para o Sector Energético, Portugal.
Joined the Oil Industry with Mobil in 1992 in Portugal after a period serving as military engineer in the Army. Took a variety of positions in Procurement, Engineering and Marketing and in 1996 transferred to BP to embrace a career in Fuels Marketing. Took a number of international assignments as Operations Director Spain and Regional Safety & Environment Director for Europe.
Upon 3 years as CEO and Chairman of BP Portugal (2010-2013), became an independent professional.

Miguel, Azores. Attended College in the United States where she graduated in Medical Technology and took an MBA at Northeastern University in Boston. She worked in a small Consultancy company until she joined Johnson & Johnson Group, in 1988. After some time in the United States, Eduarda integrated the Marketing Department in Portugal for two years and after that she worked as a Trade Marketing Manager until she got the opportunity to build the Janssen Farmacêutica’s Pharmacy Division (1992); two years later, she merged this division with Cilag’s. After accomplishing this project, in 1996, she went back to Consumer in order to restructure the Sales Department’s geographic structure into Key Account Management. Once again and after a successful restructuring process, Eduarda decided to integrate a completely different area and, in 1999, became a Consultant at Egon Zehnder International, a Leading Firm in Executive Search, Board Consulting and Leadership Strategy Services; in the last three and a half years, Eduarda was responsible for the office in Portugal. In 2009, Eduarda decided to start a third stage of her career as Entrepreneur and founded ELPing Organizational Fitness as a way of capitalizing in her experience as a Manager and Consultant, and thus help organizations develop their leaders and Senior Managers as well as improving the design and optimization of their structures. He was a member of the board (CFO) and a partner at Insight Venture – Sociedade de Capital de Risco, SA, a senior consultant at One to One Corporate Finance and CEO at Sixt Rent-a-Car Portugal, having also served as member of the board (CFO) of Navalrocha – Sociedade de Construção e Reparação Navais, SA until 2012. He previously held the positions of deputy functions of the Minister of National Defense, after which he held the positions of director of the Department of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of National Defense and vice-president of the Portuguese Institute of Support to Development (IPAD).
His current research is linked to the areas of Decision Theory and Behavioral Finance and focuses on the economic and financial consequences of aversion to debt and the propensity for debt.
